Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 5, 2026

Overview

Strimano is a browser-based musical instrument. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Camera & Hand Tracking

Your camera feed never leaves your device. All hand tracking, face tracking, and pose detection is processed entirely in your browser using Google's MediaPipe library. No video, images, or tracking data is sent to our servers or any third party.

Camera access is only activated when you click the Cam button, and you can revoke browser camera permissions at any time.

Personal Data

Strimano does not require an account to use the instrument. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal information unless you contact us directly.

If you create an account (optional), we store only your email address and hashed password for authentication purposes.

AI Processing (StriBot)

When you use StriBot, the AI assistant built into Strimano, your messages are sent to the Anthropic Claude API to generate responses.

For more details, see Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
